Installation of NOV 500 UP Elevator at Fötáv

When our representative in Hungary turned to us in November 2009 with a request to replace an old Alimak elevator and supply a new service elevator for the smoke stack of a Fötáv municipal heating plant in Budapest, there seemed to be no problem. The elevator was supposed to be built for a height of 205 m, 10 landings, a capacity of 500 kg, and controlled by a frequency converter. It was to be installed inside the reinforced concrete envelope of the smoke stack. We have had a lot of experience with such projects.
